Alexander Sklyarov
People's Artist of the Russian Federation, full professor of Voronezh State Academy of Arts.
He graduated from the Gnessin College in 1968 and Gnesins Russian Academy of Music in 1973. Since 1973, he has been teaching at the Voronezh State Academy of Arts, being made a full professor in 1992. Alexander Sklyarov became a soloist of the Voronezh Philharmonic in 1978.

Alexander, by his own count, has played more than 4,100 solo concerts. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and has given numerous performances on tour around France — with the AKKO bayan.

According to music critics, his performances have a lively conversation intonation. Sklyarov loves classical music, noting: "I can play Mozart for four hours! That's how many pieces written by Wolfgang Amadeus are now included in my programs (naturally, arranged for an accordion)."
